Outer island fishing attracts all levels of fisherman and is mostly done off the sand flats. While this area is better known for the excellent bone fishing, there are a variety of other fish to be caught using fly or light tackle.
Deep sea fishing and fly fishing are both popular and are described in more detail below.
Deep Sea Fishing
Jig fishing is done off the reefs and drop offs. Where bait fish are found using surface poppers are used. Trolling for game fish is another popular option and it is done using surface lures trolled behind the catamaran.
The season to fish is from October to April because this is when the seas tend to be calmer
Fly Fishing

Inflatable tender boats are used to transfer fisherman from their catamaran to prime fishing spots on the sand flats. It’s on these sand flats that a variety of fish can be caught, including the very popular bonefish.
